King Gives Assent to Amendment


The Constitution (1st amendment) Act 2022 was introduced in the House of Royals on January 25th 2022 and was passed by the parliament on February 2nd with changes in the Article 3 made by the House of Royals. The Act then received the Royal Assent on February 8th and was published in the Gazette on the same day. The act aims to amend the constitution to increase the duration of the parliament to two years in order to ease the pressure off of the election commission and to also makes royals eligible to hold a politically neutral office in any mutually recognized micronation. After this, major amendments in the RCD and RCD territorial Reserves act 2021 are expected to be made.
